Objects from the Florence mine site
A collection of objects gathered on site during our August 2019 visit are displayed here, their magnetism enabling them to defy gravity.
Like other artists, we find ourselves drawn to rusting objects. The colours, textures and forms all play their part here, but also perhaps the sense of time, of change and decay, and the continuing life of materials that have fallen out of human use.
